The arbitrary definitions for the term “demonic possession” have vastly suppressed the actual numbers for demonic possession.
Most immediately think of Hollywood depictions of grotesque, demonic possessions but those are sensationalized departures from historic cases.
The Catholic tradition, in its treatment and diagnosis, may appear to be a bit more reasonable, however, its criteria for diagnosis is based on several extra-Biblical criterion. Speaking in tongues unknown to the speaker, being one criterion, which the Pentecostal sect would object to inclusion.
Even non-Christians of other religions and even pagan belief systems each have their own definition for the term.
From the purely Biblical position, “demonic possession” is not just a regional epidemic, it’s on the scale of a global pandemic.
First, we need to examine the Greek word translated into the English term, “possessed.”
It’s found in Strong’s Concordance number 1139 in the Greek dictionary. δαιμονιζόμενοι (daimonizomenoi) meaning, to be controlled by, a demon. To be puppeteered, something beyond being merely influenced.
A DETAILED ACCOUNT
A good example would be king Saul, following his loss of the presence of the Spirit of God, which he received when he was the Anointed one like later David and Jesus would be similarly anointed as king of Israel.
King Saul was “demonically possessed” to hurl a spear to kill that same David. It caused Saul to take a wicked action, in addition to relentlessly tormenting Saul’s mind to the point of causing bouts of violent insanity.
David treated Saul’s symptoms by playing music that calmed his spirit, providing temporary relief. My assumption is the demon must have enjoyed listening to soothing music.
King Saul didn’t look any different than he had before he became possessed, everyone recognized him as king and obeyed him without question.
In fact, no one, not even David, treated king Saul like he wasn’t there. No one could discern any difference in the king besides a newly acquired, violent psychosis.
MODERN PSYCHIATRY
Today, a violent psychosis is classified as a medically measurable mental illness, defects within the human brain.
With MRI and CT scaners providing a non-invasive view of the brain, it has become evident that not all violent psychoses are supported by brain defects. It’s not even clear if a deterioration in the brain is the cause or the effect.
In some cases of illegal human experimentation, combinations of drugs with the reinforcement of violent ideas have produced violent psychoses.
These are products of outside influences to modify behavior.
Understanding these things, it’s often impossible to distinguish the actual source of any given violent psychosis.
METAPHYSICS AS SCIENCE
Today, many shake their heads at those who attribute mental illness to demonic influence and possession, without realizing that they have merely transferred their faith from one philosophy to another, without the benefit of any supporting science whatsoever. No mental illness has ever be cured by any psychiatric treatment.
In fact, psychiatric doctors Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung are technically, metaphysicians. No one was a bigger proponent of psychic abilities than Carl Jung.
MEDICAL EVIDENCE
Whereas, medical doctors have detected malformed areas of the brains of mental patients but only after the onset of symptoms, which brought the patient to their attention. That means there is no way of determining whether the psychosis is the cause of any malformation or a symptom, examining a patient after the fact.
Those suffering from birth defects within the brain don’t typically have additive abilities, they have diminished abilities and are not typically prone to violence.
Therefore, the violent psychosis cannot be assumed to be solely a product of brain malformation. It is far more complicated than the assumption of the unlearned.
MEDICAL TREATMENTS
Violent behavior can be temporarily tranquilized with a variety of inhibiting drugs, however, tranquilization is not a cure, it’s a treatment with very temporary effect.
Surgical removal of pieces of the brain are not a cure either, rather a means of disabling mental and physical abilities, no different than amputating the hands of a thief to cure an antisocial behavior.
Beyond the science of temporary tranquilization, psychiatry remains a very metaphysical philosophy, rather than a medical science.
THE DSM-5
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) codifies types of mental disorders by a series of behavioral symptoms. This is the vocation bible for the entire psychiatric industry. It is used as evidence in most courts.
Mental disorders, such as homosexuality, transsexuality, listed in prior editions of the DSM have been updated to remove those two classifications from their catalogue of mental disorders.
Has the science progressed by new discoveries? Not at all.
The classifications are determined by political means, within the industry. At one point, homosexuals and transsexuals we’re not favored by the metaphysician industry. Now that the industry has become more inclusive, those classifications of mental disorders have been removed.
The DSM lacks the consistency of Biblical philosophy. The DSM is a different metaphysical philosophy which changes whenever the social winds change. That makes the DSM more palatable to current sensibilities of the world.
MENTAL ILLNESSES VS. DISORDERS
Because metaphysics are a dubious cure for violent psychosis, no documented cases of a violent psychosis has ever been cured, only tranquilized.
Several mental disorders listed in the DSM-5, like Claustrophobia, an anxiety disorder, can be suppressed with drugs and various behavior modifying, repetitive exercises.
However, such anxiety disorders are just over-exaggerated (but otherwise healthy) fears that can be managed and suppressed to a more manageable level.
Mental disorders are not mental illnesses. These are not interchangeable terms.
A mental illness is an actual, physical insult to brain tissues, whereas, a mental disorder is an aberrant, irrational behavior, in an otherwise healthy human brain.
CODIFICATION
Mentioning the DSM is necessary to understand the basis of modern metaphysics, which has supplanted the Biblical view of the cause of aberrant, irrational behavior.
It’s no different than a book of demonology, codifying the names of demons with more pretentious names with Greek etymologies.
They are defined by personality traits, just like any medieval codification of demonology.
That’s the inescapable part of the demonology of the DSM – their new names for the old ones of medieval demonology.
Nothing about these codified disorders are random or chaotic, as software malfunctions typically are, these are specific manifestations of malevolent personalities.
Read that again. These are specific manifestations of malevolent personalities.
Understand that important fact.
Mental disorders are not random or chaotic at all, they can be codified by personality type, by the description of the original archetype.
THE GNOSIS
The fact that mental disorders are uniform enough to be codified by very specific personality traits are obviously describing and identifying a specific personality, shared by many people who may have never met, separated by aeons and continents.
According to psychiatry, humanity shares a metaphysical connection, according to what Carl Jung called, “the collective unconscious,” where we all share certain memories, which influence all of us, regardless of time, distance, without the necessity to ever communicate those memories.
That is the “knowing,” otherwise known as the “gnosis,” the metaphysical basis of Gnosticism – the basis of man made religions presuming to be settled science. This is the way of the world.
NPD & THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT
Lately, Narcissistic Personalty Disorder, often referred to by its acronym, “NPD,” has become a pandemic.
NPD is very evident online, in the real world, parading arrogant, shameless and selfish attitudes that are often sociopathic to the extreme. Tik Tok, Fans Only, and other places online can make you scared of people if you believe that’s norm now. It is not.
The demonized have just found platforms that attract simps and other spiritual weaklings.
You can call aberrant behavior a trend, or whatever you like but twerking is not empowering, it’s dehumanizing. Being gangsta, celebrating violent psychoses, taking pride in severing your genitals to take on the appearance of a gender you are not, and other aberrations all appear to be the expression of spirits other than their own.
Go onto YouTube and take note of all the channels dedicated to breaking the spiritual bondage to NPD husbands, wives, family friends and partners. It’s a pandemic that can never be uttered in the media.
The NPD all share the same, uniformly identical spirit, who many Christians refer to as the spirit of Jezebel.
SPIRITUAL COMBAT
These are all consistent with decadent demonic influences that lead to death, suicide and destruction when kingdoms and empires fall in on themselves.
Destroying Western civilization is the objective of these unclean spirits, to make way for the coming of their king, the false christ, who they will worship as God. They are making war with the people of God to overcome them.
That is the reason why churches, families and promising individuals are targeted and stripped of hope, the moment they ever become spiritually weak or compromised.
Demonic influence will only continue to intensify and snowball with time.
This is how you too can fall into the spiritual oppression of emotional depression, the moment you indulge yourself in self pity.
STAND FIRM
The only defense is staying close to God and being grateful for His blessings as you keep His commandments and the faith of Jesus – the Shema.
All others, no matter how religious, will be overcome as they follow the broad way into destruction with the rest of the world.
